Although at first glance it may seem like not much has changed, certainly the attention given to the minor details will give DSLR stand V2 a major boost in effectiveness to get tasks done be it for business or leisure. Similar to the original DSLR stand the DSLR stand V2 comes with the same layout however with many improvements, such as a more precise and smooth professional milled aluminum finish. All edges on the DSLR Stand V2 have been chamfered ( knobs included) allowing industry standard 15mm rods to be inserted into the stand effortlessly and for the knobs to tighten with ease. Accessories can be attached at the bottom into 1/4-20 holes drilled by machine to ensure proper threading.

The DSLR V2 is compatible with the canon 7D, 60D, T2I, and the 5DMK2. Sony and Nikon cameras will also work, as long as they have the 1/4-20 thread, although the secondary anti twist locking pin will not match those cameras. Another possible Issue using non canon DSLRs would be the distance of center of lens to center of rods might not be the "Light Weight" standard of 85mm. Rod Size
We offer a variety of rod sizes to fit the needs of our customers. The 6 inch rods are ideal to handle most simple lens and camera configuration. With this setup you'll have enough space to mount a Follow Focus along with a Matte-box using most Canon lenses. If you plan on using longer lenses, like for example the 70-200mm, then you'll definitely need the larger 8" rods. If your looking to mount more things or eventually build up to full shoulder rig, you can opt to get the 12" rods.

The Redrock's microTape Sonar Rangefinder is a professional-level accessory to aid in accurately judging focusing distance. The microTape employs powerful but harmless sonar that displays distances up to 21 feet, and delivers this information in real-time via its large format display. The microTape can be used safely on any type of subject, including people, animals, objects, furniture, etc. An integrated laser pointer is available at the touch of a button to accurately aim the microTape as well (a word of caution: this a laser, so you'll want to take precautions not to shine it anywhere near eyes).

The microTape display is configurable: distance can be configured to show imperial (inches/feet) or metric. The microTape can be used both standalone and in conjunction with the Redrock Micro microRemote wireless focusing system. In standalone mode, focus results can be seen on the bright, double-sided large format LED readout for focus reference, and is powered via an external battery. The microTape can be mounted on the camera rig, or can also be used off camera. You can specify the offset from the camera using the soft-button control panel so the distances are still accurate wherever the microTape is placed.

When used with the microRemote, the microTape opens up new features by allowing the microTape's distance to be displayed in real-time on the microRemote's iPhone/iPod touch display. The microTape distance is shown alongside the current focus of the microRemote, and is relative to lens depth of field. A simple "match up the points" ensures accurate focusing with no guesswork.

At a fraction of the cost of comparable solutions, the Redrock microTape is an excellent addition to any camera rig where accurate focus is essential.

The Z-bands include 4 red aluminum balls and two elastic bands.

The Zacuto Z-Mount II connects two 15mm rods set at a right angle. Each rod port is controlled separately by a Zacuto Z-release ratcheting lever. The Z-Mount II can also accept a Zacuto Zamerican Arm end. This piece is perfect for attaching an articulating arm to your baseplate, handles or anywhere else on a 15mm rod system.

Other uses include creating a right angle shoulder pad to camera offset as in our Fast Draw kit. Attaching a single handle to a baseplate like in our Z-Grip Z-Mount or making a quick lens support as displayed in the detailed product photos with a short rod and a 1/4 20 or 3/8 16 adapter. The Zacuto USB Mini Controller MC1 is a wired USB remote, designed for Canon EOS Digital SLR cameras with video capability. EVF Rod Mount

The Zacuto Z-ERM EVF Rod Mount is used to attach the Zacuto EVF to a 0.59" (15 mm) rod, or to a Zacuto universal baseplate with a video camera such as the AF-100, Sony F3, or FS100. When used in combination with Z-mount Zwivel 360° connector at the corner and pan and tilt mount at the top the combination allows the EVF to be placed at various positions.

C300 Studio Baseplate with 12 In. (30.48 cm) Rods

The Zacuto Studio Baseplate with 12 In. rods for Canon C100/300/500 is made specifically for the EOS C300/100/500 cameras. It is exceptionally flat which helps keep the center of gravity low. This baseplate features a pair of 15mm rods that are 12 In. long running through the length of the baseplate. You can quickly reposition the rods for various lens lengths by loosening the 2 levers, one on each side of the baseplate.

On each side of the baseplate there is also a set of 15mm lightweight holes. The side holes take 15mm female rods that are locked via an Allen screw. This gives users a virtually unlimited amount of mounting options. With these side holes, you have the option of turning the baseplate into a cage configuration.

Or, you could mount a Zwiss Plate with professional batteries off of the side of the baseplate, via two female/female rods, when shooting on a tripod for better balance. When not using a cage configuration, the side holes can be used for an EVF, Zacuto articulating arms, rods and more. The baseplate also has standard ¼ In. 20 and 3/8 In. 16 holes on the bottom for mounting the rig onto a tripod.

The Zacuto FC1 USB Focus Controller gives the photo and video enthusiast a compact yet powerful device that enhances the capabilities of HD video enabled Canon EOS Digital SLR cameras. Like Canon's EOS Utility, the FC1 uses Canon's USB protocol to allow control of a wide range of functions, but without the limitations and bulk of being tethered to a computer. The device is handheld, weighing under 5 oz. including batteries, and less than 3 In. in diameter. It is connected to your camera with a standard mini-B to A USB cable, and can be used as a remote control or attached to a rig using a 1/4 In. - 20 mount located on the back of the anodized aluminum enclosure.

The FC1 uses the autofocus motor in lenses to control focus, even while recording video. This also works in any Live View modes, which can be useful for photography. The HDMI output can still be used in tandem with the controller, as well. The nine other switches located around the central focus knob can be used to access important camera functions, such as video start/stop, digital zoom, saving focus points, and adjusting camera settings. If your intended use is as a remote control for a camera mounted on a crane or jib, the FC1 has been successfully tested with non-powered USB extension cables past 25 meters in length.

It is important that potential users understand how Canon's USB implementation affects the FC1. Certain characteristics of Canon's design make it perform quite differently than a mechanical follow focus, so it is recommended that you read the User Guide and the Canon USB Protocol article.

Note: The autofocus motor noise is audible to internal microphones on Canon cameras, especially if AGC (auto gain control) is enabled. We recommend that an external microphone be used in combination with the FC1 USB Focus Controller.

The Zacuto Z-LSHK-B Zgrips Beefy are a pair of handgrips for HD camera packages between 22-40 lbs. i.e. RED cameras. These grips are infinitely adjustable with un-parallel strength. Each handgrip can move up and down, left and right, as well as fully articulate at the wrist. The handgrips can also move together pushing away from your body or towards your body.

Each grip can move independently so you can have one grip further away from your body than the other grip. They can also be set at different lengths or positions.
