This is an Alpa Rotocamera 6070, Pignon S.A.,Switzerland using 120/220 roll film. It can produce panoramas from a minimum of about 20 degrees to a full 360 degrees about its axis, by setting a control ring on the camera. A 360 degree shot takes almost 19 inches of film length.
Introduced in the late 1940s by Three Dimension Company, it was the most successful selling stereo slide projector. Made of heavy cast metal construction, it operates with two 500 watt projection bulbs (upgrade, halogen bulbs are available) 5"FL lenses are standard.
