The Lexar Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader (UDMA 7) is a memory card reader that leverages blazing-fast SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface technology. Enjoy data transfer rates of up to 500 MB/s to accelerate digital workflows. That's up to five times faster than USB 2.0 speeds. The reader is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices. It supports UDMA (Ultra Direct Memory Access) 7 cards, which feature substantially accelerated speeds. Compatible card formats include CompactFlash (CF), SDXC / SDHC UHS-I (Ultra High Speed Class 1), and SD.

The Lexar Pro USB 3.0 reader is a superb choice for photo and video professionals seeking to significantly speed up workflow and get the most out of their sophisticated memory cards and computers. However, the card will also serve amateurs and enthusiasts well. The reader allows for concurrent transfers--in other words, it's capable of reading both SD and CF cards simultaneously.
