The Winner and finalists will be announced on December 16, 2017 at Samys photos school's holiday open house event in Los Angeles, CA.
First place prize is a one-year scholarship to Samy's photo school. The recipient of this prize shall be allowed to take as many workshops and/or classes as they choose from January 1, 2018-December 31, 2018. Workshops excluded from scholarship include multi-day travel workshops, NPPE master classes and first horizon classes, one on one classes, and all workshops priced over $300. Samys photo school reserves the right to cancel workshops for any reason including but not limited to low enrollment, inclement weather conditions and instructor unavailability.
The top 20 photos will be chosen as finalists. These 20 photos will be printed, mounted and displayed at Samys photo school Los Angeles for viewing at the photo school open house on December 16, 2017.
Additional Rules:
Must be a US resident 18 years or older.
One entry per participant.
All photos submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them.
By entering the contest you allow Samy's Camera the right to feature your photo on our website, social media channels and newsletters.
Retouching and subtle watermarking are allowed.
First, second and third place winners will selected by a panel of Samy’s Camera judges.
Samy's Camera reserves the right to remove any photo from the contest for reasons including but not limited to; obscene or offensive subject matter, infringing on some else's artistic property, not consistent with theme, substantial pixelation.
If fraudulent voting or submission is suspected, entrants can be disqualified at our discretion.
Samy's Camera vendors, employees and relatives of employees are not eligable to participate.
